Pleyel Modèle OP190 "Opera" (Brand New)

The new P190 “Opera” grand piano from Pleyel (190cm) combines exceptional styling with a musical instrument of the highest calibre. The acoustic elements of the P190 take inspiration from the famous Pleyel grand models of the 1920s whilst the addition of a rear duplex scale in the treble compass adds an effective modern touch. Combining the best of Pleyel’s two-hundred-and-twenty year heritage with modern research and construction techniques, the Pleyel P190 opera will equally satisfy both aesthetic and pianistic demands.

Tonally, this Pleyel piano offers a genuinely distinctive voice with a bright yet dark character which is typical of the “son Pleyel”. The timbre of the instrument changes beautifully from pianissimo to fortissimo with an optimal degree of power without unwarranted loudness. This is a sophisticated piano with remarkable expressive ability.

The striking looks of this piano make it equally at home in a public setting or in the home of the music lover looking for a piano with unique character.
